Mission Statement
Innocence Denied recognizes that there are numerous people wrongly incarcerated across this country. ID believes that when an incarcerated individual is asserting a claim of actual innocence, or innocence of the crime charged, that assertion should be addressed by the judicial system at some level. ID's goal is to offer solid advice, and assistance to incarcerated individuals, and their loved ones from the reality of being on the inside of prison walls. ID will provide a venue to allow exposure, publicity, and support for individuals who are wrongfully convicted and incarcerated. Innocence Denied is also a strong advocate for education, music, art, and skills acquisition for all those incarcerated, but especially as a means of maintaining sanity for those who are wrongfully convicted and praying for eventual exoneration and justice. What Innocence Denied Is Not For:
Innocence Denied does not provide profiles on incarcerated individuals that are not innocent. (Ex: complaining about the length of sentence; guilty plea betrayals. There must be a reasonable showing that the facts and law support your innocence, i.e. constitutional rights violation, withheld evidence, new evidence, new scientific testing, prosecutorial misconduct, etc.)
Innocence Denied will not present obscene language, lewd language, or personal attacks on individuals. (If the person submitting material is not able to present their views or facts in a socially respectful fashion, they will be refused). Innocence Denied does not provide inmate to inmate contact or pen-pal services. |
